The top started turning really dark brown and i smelt a lil burning smell so stopped the baking. However the cake was not cooked at the bottom. What can i do to prevent over browning. I have read about covering it with aluminium foil. I love your easy illustrations. very helpful.<br />I don't eat eggs and saw that you use yeast instead for breads. I was wondering if you have tried flaxseed powder and water to substitute for eggs? i ask this because i am not sure of effects of yeast on kids.
