I would like to know few more things: <br /> Few weeks back I baked a pineapple upside down cake with the exact recipe. I baked it at 150 degrees for 30-35 mins and it did not burn. But after cooling down my cake sank half way. I think it’s normal to sink a little but mine sank a lot. It was an eggless cake and the ingrediants mentioned in the recipe was of 200 ml milkmaid. I will definately try the foil tent.Few days back I tried baking my cakes at 150 or 160 degrees and for 30-35 mins. The cake didn’t burn but now there is another problem now and that is of sinking from the middle. Even after following the exact recipe with proper measurements it sinks. Is it normal to sink slightly? It was an eggless cake made with 200 ml Milkmaid and in 7.5 inch cake tin. Is there something wrong with the size of the cake and the quantity of the batter? Earlier I used to bake in Microwave mode and my cakes were always moist. I recently baked a chocolate cake and the top was hard and overcooked. I had sifted my flour 3-4 times, did not over beat my batter and had followed the recipe properly and pre heated my microwave at 150 degreas and baked the cake for 60 mins as mentioned in the recipe. I have a LG microwwave. Please tell me where am I going wrong.
