But i have a question.
In the cake mixture, the maida, baking powder, baking soda is to be mixed with the sugar, butter, milkmaid, milk and vanilla essence right?
Cause the recipe says "Sift maida with cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder-keep aside" and the next line is about the sugar and stuff. So i got a bit confused.
P.S.I know what i asked is really silly but this is first time I'm trying to make a cake.Tarika Sharmanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4746440631729949558.post-82997660803488009862012-07-16T13:59:35.094+05:302012-07-16T13:59:35.094+05:30can we use tin dish in microwave option?can we use tin dish in microwave option?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4746440631729949558.post-10956783801305721502012-06-24T18:10:02.535+05:302012-06-24T18:10:02.535+05:30thank you so much for the wonderfull chocolate cak...thank you so much for the wonderfull chocolate cake recipie. i tried it and it came out really well. thanx a lot :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4746440631729949558.post-55950987515699524972012-01-24T11:07:36.663+05:302012-01-24T11:07:36.663+05:30Thank you so much Divya, will definitely try it out...Thank you so much Divya, will definitely try it out :)Snehanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4746440631729949558.post-18497002835593602632012-01-24T10:42:16.641+05:302012-01-24T10:42:16.641+05:30Sneha,yes an 8' round mw tin should be fine.Th...Sneha,yes an 8' round mw tin should be fine. This recipe is made in the microwave and I have given the time and temp settings with the recipe.Divya Kuduahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09697500855182293698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4746440631729949558.post-42998698857589202302012-01-23T22:31:58.528+05:302012-01-23T22:31:58.528+05:30Hey,Well its my first attempt to make the cake,jus...Hey,Well its my first attempt to make the cake, jus 20 years old as yet,Recipe looks simple enough. Baking it for 30 minutes gives my cakes a burnt black colored top surface while the inner layers are perfect. Should I be using the microwave mode instead of convection? or is it something to do with the batter not being smooth enough?Arunanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4746440631729949558.post-28382005625738428522008-12-16T20:04:00.000+05:302008-12-16T20:04:00.000+05:30Hi Divu, didnt hv cond. milk so used evaporated mi...Hi Divu, didnt hv cond. milk so used evaporated milk + 40gms fine sugar, the output was super moist cake, didnt need the coke/juice!
